What Will Coronavirus Vaccine Distribution Look Like In Massachusetts?

Massachusetts is scheduled to receive receive enough doses of a coronavirus vaccine for 300,000 people in December.

Governor Charlie Baker says high-risk groups will get vaccinated first, such as health care workers, nursing home workers and older adults.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Group is responsible for helping the state develop a vaccine distribution plan. We speak to the group's chair, Dr. Paul Biddinger, who is chief of the Division of Emergency Preparedness at Massachusetts General Hospital, and director of the MGH Center for Disaster Medicine.
