Congress is poised to send the $1.9 trillion COVID stimulus package to President Biden's desk, a bill that would continue unemployment benefits and offer more support for getting vaccines into arms.

On Monday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced new guidelines for fully vaccinated people: they can gather privately indoors without masks and without physical distancing. As more than 700,000 Massachusetts residents qualify as "fully vaccinated," we find ourselves wondering: are we headed back to normal? And what's that normal look like? What's safe?

We take listener calls with Dr. Joshua Barocas, an infectious diseases physician at Boston Medical Center and assistant professor of medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine, and Dr. Benjamin Linas, also an infectious disease physician at Boston Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the Boston University School of Medicine.
