Last week's shootings in Atlanta that killed eight people — six of whom were Asian, and seven of whom were women — are reverberating throughout the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in the Commonwealth. This comes in the midst of a pandemic that has made AAPIs targets of xenophobic and racial discrimination.

We take listener calls and talk about what all that means with Angie Liou, executive director of the Asian Community Development Corporation, and Danielle Kim, member of the Massachusetts Asian American Commission.

This segment aired on March 22, 2021.
