Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins announced yesterday that she plans to drop tens of thousands of criminal cases that had evidence processed in the state's scandal-plagued drug lab, expanding what is already the largest forensics audit in US history. For the first time in almost two hundred years, Boston has a mayor that is not a white man. Former Boston City Council President Kim Janey was sworn in after former Mayor Marty Walsh was confirmed as the new U.S. Secretary of Labor. We talk about what to expect from Mayor Janey with Tito Jackson, former Boston City Councilor, mayoral candidate in 2017, and now CEO of Verdant Medical, a cannabis company.
