Here is the Radio Boston rundown for April 16. Tiziana Dearing is our host.

  • This week has felt like every time we move one step forward, we end up taking two steps back. First, we discuss this week's Johnson and Johnson pause, and what it means for the vaccine rollout and our attempt to get to some sort of new normal. Then, we discuss the push for more transparency from the Boston Police, as our nation grapples with law enforcement actions and accountability. Also, we touch on how our Massachusetts delegation is working to transport us into the future, with funds from the proposed infrastructure bill. We discuss all of it and take listener calls with our expert panel. This week, we're joined by former Massachusetts Governor Jane Swift, and John Carroll, WBUR senior news analyst.

This program aired on April 16, 2021.
