It's the eve of Boston's historic preliminary mayoral election, and the nation is watching.

There's a lot at stake as Acting Mayor Kim Janey, City Councilors Michelle Wu, Andrea Campbell, Annissa Essaibi George, and former economic chief John Barros vie to be the first elected mayor of Boston who's not a white man.

There's a lot at stake, a lot of excitement and a lot of money. Millions, in fact.
