The escalating tension between Russia and Ukraine has dominated world news for weeks. So, with Russia reportedly on the verge of an invasion, we wanted to discuss how the situation is resonating with Ukrainians living in and around the Boston area. First, we get a crash course on how we got here with Emily Channell Justice, director of the Temerty Contemporary Ukraine Program at the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute. Then, we talk with Olga Lisovska, a Ukrainian singer and immigrant who came to the United States in the 1990s and now lives in Newton, Massachusetts.

This segment aired on February 14, 2022.
