'Black Super Hero Magic Mama,' the Afrocentric comic book origin story on stage and in schools

We speak with the director of Company One's production of "Black Super Hero Magic Mama," as well as the team partnering with Boston Public Schools to bring the play to classrooms.

The play centers on the experiences of a Black mother who turns to a comic book fantasy to grieve the death of her son at the hands of police. The production runs though May 21 at the Boston Public Library.
