This article is more than 1 year old.

The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination handles complaints from people who feel they've been discriminated against at work. Maybe they were fired, or didn't get a promotion, for example.

It turns out, the commission is taking years to handle those complaints, which can have a tremendous impact on the lives of those who have filed them.

We speak with Tom Murphy, a lawyer with the Disability Law Center, and WBUR reporter Simon Rios, who's been reporting on the delays.

This segment aired on May 31, 2022.
