Boston culinary icon and proud LGBTQ advocate Tiffani Faison will be throwing out the first pitch at Wednesday's Pride Night at Fenway Park. She was the first openly gay competitor on Top Chef back in 2006 and has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ rights throughout her run of culinary success ever since.
In our body-conscious, thin-focused culture, summer can create a lot of pressure on people to look a certain way. We talk about the complicated relationship between health, weight and body image.
Local author Rebecca Caprara joins us to share her new book for middle-grade readers, "Worst-Case Collin," as well as some recommendations off of her own reading list.
