In this 75th anniversary year of the Boston Printmakers inaugural show, we talk about some of the pioneering Black printmakers from the area. And we'll talk with a local artist working in the printmaking space today.

Edmund Barry Gaither is the director of Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, and an art historian and museum curator who's worked on numerous exhibitions.

Tori Weston is a writer and fine artist based in Somerville. She also studied printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts - which is where the Boston Printmakers really got their start back in the late 1940s.

This segment aired on April 20, 2023.
