Today, we take a look back at Boston through the years, as we replay past conversations from our "Set in Boston" film series.

First, the 2001 film "Blue Hill Ave," which is considered a classic Boston crime drama, while also making space for the stories of Black Bostonians in film. Then, a new look at the storied Boston Strangler through the eyes of two female journalists. Finally, a portion of our conversation on "The Departed," which we watched with a live studio audience at Brookline's Coolidge Corner Theater.

This program aired on August 8, 2023. The audio for this program is not available.
