Great Scott will reopen in Allston. Here's what's next for the storied venue

Four years ago, the beloved Allston venue Great Scott closed. Many big names graced the Great Scott stage over their 40 years in business, from Oompa to Pile, Jack Harlow and Charlie XCX.

As did a lot of local bands and up-and-comers. So when it shuddered, many wondered if the Boston music scene had lost a crucial launchpad and gathering place.

Now, Great Scott is getting a second chance. The legendary venue will reopen just a couple blocks away from its original location, owners announced last week. Radio Boston talks about what's next for Great Scott with the three men behind the venture.
