Climate Now: Giving back this Earth Day

It's Earth Week on The Common. And in honor of our home planet, we're bringing you a special series. Every day this week, we're exploring what climate change looks and feels like in Greater Boston, and how it's impacting our communities, right now.
Today we wrap up our week-long series with some ways you can get involved and give back to our planet this Earth Day, and beyond, with Sara Winslow, education associate at the Museum of Science's Current Science Communication Department.
Sara's Recommendations:
Earth Day Celebration on the Harborwalk, Charlestown Navy Yard - Pier 5
- Saturday, April 22, 12pm-3:30pm.
- Fun, refreshments, games, learning and activities for all ages!
The Mystic River Watershed Association River Clean-Ups
Charles River Clean Up
- 2023 season starts April 24th.
- Spend the day volunteering and cleaning up the Charles from a boat!
Rise Up Boston: A Climate Event
- April 29 and April 30, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm at the Museum of Science.
- A lively weekend of climate-centered activities. Tickets included with general admission or museum membership.
