On this week's show, we presented the address given by Reverend Prathia L. Hall at the 16th Boston University annual commemoration of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. The theme of this year's commemoration address was "Transformation of Dr. King's Dream." Boston University's most distinguished alumnus, Dr. King received a Ph.D. in philosophy in 1955 and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Boston University in 1959.

Afterwards, we held a roundtable dicussion on how things stand with African-Americans today with Sarah Ann Shaw, a former reporter of Boston's WBZ-TV station, Professor Glenn Loury, Director of Boston University's Institute on Race and Social Division, and Reverend Anthony Campbell, Director of Community Outreach and Preacher-in-Residence at Boston University's School of Theology.
