Boston Mobster's Longtime Girlfriend Pleads Guilty To Contempt Charges

The longtime girlfriend of convicted Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger pleaded guilty to a single federal contempt charge Wednesday.

Sixty-four-year-old Catherine Greig entered her plea in U.S. District Court in Boston.

WBUR's Steve Brown was in the courtroom and joined All Things Considered host Lisa Mullins to explain what happened.
