The term "maverick" has come to mean an individual with an independent streak, uninhibited by convention. But the term actually started with the story of a Texas pioneer, Sam Maverick. Back in June, Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson went to San Antonio, Texas, to meet the descendants of the original Maverick. They gather every year for a family reunion.
