Actor Leonard Nimoy made the word "fascinating" famous as Mr. Spock on the 1960s TV series “Star Trek” which first aired 50 years ago. Now, "Fascinating" is also the title of a new children's book celebrating Nimoy’s childhood.

"Fascinating" reveals the connections between Nimoy's upbringing in a Jewish immigrant family and his iconic "Star Trek" character. And it unveils the origins of Spock's famous Vulcan salute.
