The Politics Of Face Masks: What The Biden Mask Mocking Is Really About

There's a new flashpoint in the culture war over whether to wear face masks in the age of the coronavirus after Joe Biden was criticized for wearing a mask while out honoring the fallen on Memorial Day.

Brit Hume, a Fox News analyst, tweeted a photo mocking Biden. President Trump, who has not worn a mask publicly, retweeted it. The exchange stirred up social media, but had some wondering what the political benefit is to mocking something that the Trump administration recommends.
