The Federal Aviation Administration says “in the near future” the aviation regulatory agency will issue an “airworthiness directive” regarding Boeing's troubled 737 Max.

That directive is expected to be the initial approval of Boeing's software upgrades to fix a flawed flight control system that is partly to blame for two deadly plane crashes.

Host Tonya Mosley speaks with Here & Now transportation analyst Seth Kaplan.

This segment aired on July 22, 2020.
