On the evening of Jan. 17, 2015, Chanel Miller was sexually assaulted on her way home from a party on the Stanford University campus in Palo Alto, California.

Anonymous throughout most of the trail, Miller is now a vocal public figure and artist whose latest mural in San Francisco explores themes of healing for trauma survivors.
