Candice Springer is associate director of WBUR CitySpace. She works with the director to plan content, develop strategy and oversee logistics for the venue. She is also responsible for executing strategic marketing and public relations campaigns that drive audiences and increase WBUR’s engagement with the Greater Boston community.
Candice joined WBUR in 2016 as a marketing and events manager and transitioned to CitySpace when it opened in 2019. Prior to WBUR, she served as an events coordinator at Northeastern University for five years, where she planned special events for the Office of the President and the Office of University Advancement.
Candice received her BA in Journalism with a minor in East Asian Studies from Northeastern in 2009.
In her spare time, she can often be found cooking new recipes, reading books, going to Broadway musicals and catching up on all the latest TV shows and movies.
