CitySpace Summer Camp Recap: Theater Week!

WBUR CitySpace Summer Camp is a six-week series providing content to families with school age children. Each week we provide an assignment to tackle and families submit photos or a video of their completed project.

Last week, we asked CitySpace campers to show us their favorite scene, song or characters from a movie, TV show or a play. And our campers definitely delivered!

We were treated to heroes, villains, princesses and silly cartoon characters. We listened to awesome songs from musicals including "Hamilton," "Matilda," "Beetlejuice," and "The Greatest Showman." Some campers even got super creative by drawing out their favorites scenes or animating them with LEGOs. Needless to say, we were blown away and you will be too when you watch this recap!

Thanks to all of our campers who participated in theater week. You are such bright stars! While we couldn't squeeze every project into the recap, you can see all of them in our photo album. Click here to view the full album.

WBUR CitySpace Summer Camp was brought to you in partnership with Huntington Theatre Company, American Repertory Theater, Merrimack Repertory Theater, Lyric Stage Company of Boston, SpeakEasy Stage CompanyBoston Playwrights' Theater, The Front Porch Arts Collective,  New Rep Theatre and Central Square Theater.
