Photos: Lee grazes an already water-logged Massachusetts

Downgraded to a tropical cyclone, Lee made its closest pass by Massachusetts Saturday morning, bringing bands of heavy rain, strong wind gusts and dangerous surf to Cape Cod and other parts of coastal New England.

The outer Cape and Nantucket felt the strongest impact of the storm, which had once been a Category 5 hurricane, as it moved north toward Canada. The now Tropical Cyclone Lee is forecast to make landfall in western Nova Scotia.

The storm was the latest in a long stretch of foul weather that has left parts of New England sodden and worse.

Here's a look at how the region weathered the storm.
