Celebrating Pride in Boston during an uncertain time for LGBTQ+ people

04:38

The streets of Back Bay and downtown Boston will come alive this weekend to celebrate Pride with the annual parade and festival.

The LGBTQ+ community's celebratory month comes as the Trump administration has taken action to reduce their rights and recognition.

Adrianna Boulin, the president of Boston Pride for the People, joins WBUR's All Things Considered to discuss what it's been like to organize this event during a tenuous political atmosphere for LGBTQ+ folks.

This segment aired on June 12, 2025.
