Your Feedback: The Civil War And More

This week, many of you wanted to talk about the planned Whole Foods in Jamaica Plain and some of you shared your recycling challenges. One listener even shared a piece of his family history.

Mark Farrell is the great-grandson of Henry William Tisdale, the Civil War soldier whose diary we profiled in our story on Massachusetts and the Civil War. Farrell told us a little more about Tisdale's Civil War service (including his time in the infamous Andersonville prison in Georgia). He also shared photos of his great grandfather, and the gravestone where he is buried.
