This week, the political focus shifted from Iowa to New Hampshire, with the Republican presidential candidates descending on the Granite State.

But the primary wasn't the only news this week. New details emerged about Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray's November car accident. Joseph Kennedy III announced he's considering a run for Congress. And two years after cutting legal immigrants out of the state's health care coverage, the state Supreme Judicial Court ruled, expensive or not, they have equal rights under the constitution.

Radio Boston takes on the week's news.

Guests:

  • Joan Vennochi, columnist, the Boston Globe
  • Kyle Cheney, reporter, State House News Service

This program aired on January 6, 2012.
