Resume
Boston Latin School has a new headmaster.
Rachel Skerritt is currently the deputy chief of leadership development for the District of Columbia Public Schools. The Dorchester native is also a Boston Latin alum and will become the first minority leader in the school's history.
Her appointment follows the resignation of Lynne Mooney Teta last summer, following allegations of mishandling several racially charged incidents at the elite exam school.
