Two Kenyan runners are the winners of this year's Boston Marathon, with a field of 30,000 runners registered for the race.

Geoffrey Kirui and Edna Kiplagat both made their Boston debut with first place finishes. American  Jordon Hasay also made a splash as the first American woman to finish and third overall — despite it being her first marathon.
