Poet and writer Eileen Myles' new book reflects on the life of a beloved family member, her pit bull, Rosie.

"Afterglow (a dog memoir)" doesn't follow a prescribed timeline. The book spans summers in Provincetown, musings on Rosie's plaid dog bed and Myles' reflections on time and gender.
