There was another revelation Tuesday in the series of scandals plaguing the Massachusetts State Police.

The Boston Globe reports that troopers assigned to Logan Airport apparently destroyed multiple guns in open criminal cases after they were seized from passengers — raising questions about how state police are handling evidence.

The state police are already under investigation for an overtime pay scandal that has led to criminal charges against 10 troopers.

There is also an investigation into the destruction of payroll records, and a look at allegations about some troopers improperly receiving free guns.
