President Trump ordered that all Boeing 737 MAX planes be grounded Wednesday. This means that the U.S. has joined more than 40 countries in grounding the model, following Sunday's crash in Ethiopia.

We ask MIT professor R. John Hansman if 737 MAX planes should be considered unsafe and what impact this decision will have on the airline industry.

Guest

R. John Hansman, MIT professor of aeronautics and the director of MIT's International Center for Air Transportation.

This segment aired on March 13, 2019.
