The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education on Thursday released guidance on how schools could reopen this fall.

The guidelines include having teachers and students wear face masks, spacing desks at least three feet apart and keeping students in the same group throughout the school day.

We hear from local school community members and speak with Jeffrey Riley, commissioner of elementary and secondary education.

This segment aired on June 25, 2020.
