Crane Beach has lost 112 acres of sand — the equivalent of 84 football
fields — since the 1950s, according to a new report from conservation group The Trustees of Reservations. The report sounds the alarm on how climate change is affecting Massachusetts' North Shore, from increased tidal flooding to beach erosion.

WBUR Environmental Editor Barbara Moran has been digging into the report's findings, and joins us to discuss.

This segment aired on August 20, 2020.
