The state has lifted pandemic restrictions, but did you know that includes for child care centers?

Public health officials are recommending kids five older wear their masks indoors and keep at least 3-feet of separation, but mandates to do so are gone.

That leaves many providers struggling with the decision of how to move forward safely in an industry still trying to climb its way out of the pandemic. We talk about the state of child care as the Commonwealth fully reopens for business, and take listener calls with WBUR Edify editor Kathleen McNerney and Donna Denette, executive director of the Children First Center in Granby.

This segment aired on June 2, 2021.
