This article is more than 1 year old.

Thousands of satellites are launched into space every year and have become our "eyes in the sky" on climate change, agriculture and national security. The development of modern satellite technology started here in Massachusetts. Now, almost anyone can buy images from space online.

This segment aired on May 5, 2022.
