- Cambridge-based author Yelena Lembersky joins us to talk about her family's harrowing experience leaving Soviet Russia to come to the United States. Her memoir, co-authored with her mother Galina, is called, "Like a Drop of Ink in a Downpour: Memories of Soviet Russia."
- James Beard award-winning columnist Tamar Haspel joins us to talk about her book, "To Boldly Grow: Finding Joy, Adventure, and Dinner in Your Own Backyard." In the book, Haspel chronicles her 14 year quest to eat one thing she grew, foraged or hunted for herself as part of every meal.
- Katherine Nazarro, manager and bookseller for Porter Square Books, and Caroline Harvey, owner of Dogtown Books in Gloucester, join us to share their must-read recommendations.
