Historians are in a race against time to collect and preserve memories and experiences of Holocaust survivors, some 90 years after the genocide began. Part of that preservation is happening in Miami this week with survivor David Schaecter. He will be memorialized in an interactive exhibit at the future Boston Holocaust Museum, set to open in 2025. In it, anyone will be able to ask a hologram of him questions about his experiences and get answers in real time.

This segment aired on January 27, 2023.
