Feb. 28: CitySpace Grand Opening
Join us on February 28 as we celebrate the grand opening of CitySpace! Tour the venue, enjoy food and drinks and experience an entertaining lineup featuring some of your favorite hosts and reporters.
Registration is required for each event.
3 p.m. — Be an audience member at the first live broadcast of Radio Boston at CitySpace.
4 p.m. — Experience Endless Thread live with hosts Ben Brock Johnson and Amory Sivertson as they share stories of mystery and hilarity from the "front page of the internet," and play a game with gifs.
5 p.m. — Listen to Carey Goldberg (editor of CommonHealth), Christine Willmsen (Senior Investigative Editor-Reporter), Barbara Moran (Senior Producing Editor, Environment) and Shira Springer (Sports in Society Reporter) discuss the upcoming civic conversations planned for CitySpace. Conversation to be moderated by Bob Oakes, host of Morning Edition.
6 p.m. — Join WBUR’s ARTery team for a breakdown of the best arts and culture reporting in Boston, a special guest appearance from the Moth live events host, Bethany Van Delft, and a live musical performance from Kerrin Connolly, The ARTery's fan favorite of the Massachusetts entries to NPR Music's Tiny Desk Contest.
