Here & Now’s Peter O'Dowd and Chris Bentley have been reporting on trash and climate change for our environmental reporting project Reverse Course.

They reflect on what they've learned, including the revelation that some new ways of reducing waste like "deconstruction" are actually old ideas; New York's Star Theater was taken apart piece by piece in 1901.
