This week, the Supreme Court decided to uphold President Trump's travel ban and ruled that nonunion workers cannot be required to pay union fees. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement, inciting speculation about the political direction of the court going forward.
In New York's Democratic primary, Democratic Socialist newcomer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shocked the political world in her stunning upset over incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley. And in Annapolis, Md., a deadly shooting in the newsroom of the Capital Gazette left five journalists dead. We review some of the week's biggest stories, as well as the results from WBUR's latest poll.
