Local Playwrights Imagine Life In Boston After The Pandemic

"Dream Boston" is a new series of audio-only plays from the Huntington Theatre that imagine returning to normal life in Greater Boston after the pandemic ends.

So far, the series has featured stories from four local playwrights: Kate SnodgrassBrenda WithersKirsten Greenridge,  and Melinda Lopez.

The first play in the series was from Lopez, who is also helping coordinate the project. Lopez is the playwright in residence at the Huntington Theatre Company.

Her piece for the series is titled "By The Rude Bridge." It's set in Concord, at a re-enactment of the Battles of Lexington and Concord in the year 2025.
