Preparing For The Upcoming Solar Eclipse

Set the alarm on your phone for a little earlier Thursday morning: 5:08 a.m. to be precise.

That's the exact moment when the sun will rise in our fair city, and our burning, gaseous star will align with the earth and moon for an annular eclipse.

To help us safely look to the skies, we catch up with Kelly Beatty, senior editor of Cambridge-based Sky & Telescope Magazine, on his way out of town to chase the eclipse.
