Another Hanukkah in a pandemic
ResumeThursday night is the fifth night of Hanukkah.
It's a celebration of light in darkness. It's also one of many traditions that people in both faith and secular communities celebrate this time of year.
We were so hopeful that this year, this holiday season, things would be different. Or, maybe, that they wouldn't be — that we'd be back to normal. But we continue to live in the exception as the pandemic appears to be entering a new phase.
So, where do we find light in the darkness this year? We speak to Rabbi Claudia Kreiman of the Temple Beth Zion synagogue in Brookline.
