Leaving your job is a true leap of faith. There are an endless number of questions to address: Where am I trying to go in my career? And how much should I have put aside if that new job doesn't crop up as fast as I might like?

These uncertainties haven't stopped millions of Americans who have joined the "Great Resignation" by leaving their jobs to try something different though.

Last week, we turned to Evan Horowitz, the Executive Director at the Center for State Policy Analysis at Tufts University to talk about what we're seeing in the job market and why now is such a tumultuous time for so many people in their careers.

This week, we look at what it means to join this job movement, and how to look before you leap, or how to land on both feet if you've already taken the plunge.

Kathy Robinson, founder and an executive career coach at Turning Point, a career counseling network, and Jennifer Lane, a certified financial advisor and founder of Compass Planning Associates, join us to offer guidance and answer listener calls.

This segment aired on January 31, 2022.
