More tents cleared near 'Mass. and Cass'

We begin today's show at the intersection of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Massachusetts Avenue in South Boston, where the administration of Acting Mayor Kim Janey has been actively working to clear the tent city there.

Thursday, at the nearby block of Southampton Street and Theodore Glenn Way, city workers cleared about a dozen tents. WBUR Senior Correspondent Deborah Becker was there, and she joins us.
